Dr. Dinesh Kapoor
Dr. Dinesh Kapoor is a leading entrepreneur in the Indian fitness and sports goods industry.
His passion and commitment for Indian sports convinced him to create a start-up company, IJPL Sports Management Pvt. Ltd, to launch avant garde sports platforms for development of grass root sports in the country. Dr. Kapoor and his team successfully launched the IJPL Talent Hunt Season 1 in Dubai International Stadium after conducting a nation-wide talent hunt across India, involving 55,000 youngsters in 2016-17. The results are there for all to see – the IJPL TH provides a never-seen before platform for school sports and talented youth to transform their lives for the first time in India!
With IJPL Season 2, which is being held under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India, Dr. Kapoor wishes to set new milestones for promotion of grass root sports, especially for youngsters from remote areas and underprivileged background.
Dr. Kapoor also heads the Traders Association of Sporting Goods and Physical Exercise Equipment which looks after the interest and issues of the industry for creating a world-class eco-system and awareness for public health and wellness through fitness and sports.
Ravi Tewari has acquired his Masters Degree from the University of London. Thereafter, he did Management Consultancy and Accountancy with Price Waterhouse & Co., London office.
He has also been involved with consulting, training, mentoring and documentation projects with various international agencies. He has varied experience of conducting video-camera-aided Soft Skills Development and Corporate Training Programmes.
He has been an avid sports follower and has been promoting various sports. He has corporate experience of over 40 years. He is currently working as Vice President, Fitness World.
Mr Sampat Rai has been a Director at Fitness World looking after Marketing activities of the company for the last over 5 years. Earlier he was Consultant to the company and simultaneously advising foreign Telecom companies on India entry strategies.
He started his career in 1976 at Microcomp Ltd (parent company of HCL) and after having worked at Mumbai, Pune , Chandigarh he was posted to Delhi at a senior position managing the North Region. He has worked as Regional Head of Superphone India Pvt Ltd for a long period and then spent time as Marketing Manager of Bharti Telecom Ltd followed by General Manager at IXL (Dalmia Group). He later joined Star Electronics limited as Vice President and later on served as Director.
He carries behind him an experience of almost 40 years in the Corporate World.
